Positive Thinking Gets Positive Results

Updated on February 17, 2011

ALWAYS THINK POSITIVE

So many people in life don't know the words positive thinking or positive attitudes. Some of us lead a very negative life for many different reasons. Many people can't seem to get a break in anything they try to do, which in turn, leads them to the negative part in their life, sad but true. They seem to think that they be a failure and can't achieve or accomplish anything they set out to do and make it happen.

Lets just think for a moment. Lets say for instance, I want to be able to do something which could be anything, but I know I won't be able to do it so why even try. That right there is pure negativity come out of that person. How can you say you can't do something when you haven't even given yourself a chance to try to do it.

Many people don't give themselves enough credit in life and feel as if they can't do anything. You must start thinking positive and telling yourself that you will try and will succeed. Positive thinking gets positive results.

Positivity in life is very important and without thinking positive you will have a rough time in anything you try to do.

CREATING YOURSELF

Creating yourself and making yourself a more positive person is one of the keys to success in all walk of life. You must think, breathe and live with positivity in your life. It may seem hard for some to think positive when so many things go wrong in their life and they can't find that light at the end of the tunnel.

You must keep trying, no matter what life throws at you. Don't back down and start thinking negative because something may have gone wrong in your life. Stand up to that problem or whatever might have happen and begin thinking positive you will be able to figure out a way to resolve that problem and start moving ahead with your life in a more positive way.

I want to tell you a story, one of many I might add, but I won't bore you with my life. This one particular story I must share with you, because it something that I never would believe in my lifetime would ever happen, so here it is.

Every since I was a young child I had very rich taste in everything, including cars, homes, musical instruments. Everything had to be the best or I just didn't want it. The rich taste thing came from my parents and I totally agreed with them.

My life dream was to have a home by the Sea, but I knew I would never be able to afford such a home or anything close to it.  My parents did purchase a small home right on the Barnaget Bay in New Jersey back in the early 70's for a mere twenty thousand dollars, which at that time was a lot of money, but in today's world it's really nothing. You can't even buy a car for twenty thousand dollars today.

So I grew up on the Bay with the dock, the boat and everything that came along with Seashore living. It was a wonderful life I must say, but when I grew older and got married and started to have my own children I looked back at all those great times I had down at the shore and even though my parents still owned the home by the Sea, I had to move on and set up a house for my own family far from the Bay and Ocean I grew to love.

Always wondering back in my mind, "will I ever be able to buy such a home by the Sea on my own with no help from anyone, just for my wife, children and I ?"

I had big dreams and goals through my married years, but something stood in my way form achieving those dream and goals and that was my addiction to alcohol and the negativity that came with my addiction. I felt worthless and that I would never be able to have what I wanted and dreamed about because my addiction was holding me back for many different reasons.

We basically struggle our whole married life financially do to the amount of money that was spent on alcohol and my foolish habit and addiction to it.

Finally in 2009 I had had enough and it was time to turn my life around and go after what I wanted in a positive fashion. The end of 2009 and most of 2010 was a tough ride, but I was able to pull some money together through saving etc. and the money I spent on alcohol.  I was able to start my journey in finding the perfect house by the Sea.

In the beginning of 2011 I found what I wanted and went out for my dream that had been lost for all of my married life. We found that perfect place and I bought it all own my own with no help from anyone, just like I planned when I was a child.

I then realized something, and that was "God will help those that help themselves and I by me stopping drinking alcohol and changing my life around everything started to come into place slow but sure."

I have now want I always wanted and that was to be by the Sea and to be clean and sober and I got both. How, by staying strong and believing in myself and taking that positive path in life instead of thinking I will never have this or I can't do this.

Anyone can have anything in life you want if you want it bad enough and I was so determined to have my home by the Sea.  Nothing and I mean nothing was going to stand in my way of my dreams and goals.

So there you have it.  this short story of my dreams is proof that anything is possible in life if you keep that positive attitude and never give up until you get what you want. Never say never!!
