Daddy's Little Girl Is All Grown Up
65Twenty five years ago this February 2011
I stood in the delivery room and I thought I was in heaven.
Daddy's little girl was born
I was so excited and happy to see my beautiful little girl
she lie so still and sweet
as i tried tickling her little feet
I held her so soft and gentle
worrying not to hurt this precious gem God has given me
As years pass I watched her grow, learn and develop
She had grown into a woman it seems overnight
it's the way of life that I could not fight
I miss the joy of holding my baby girl
Daddy's little girl is all grown up
The memories will last a life time
It gives me great joy and pride to say that once little
baby girl, now woman is mine.
I love you Stefani

It's hard to let go of the memories of when they are young, isn't it? Then you get to watch them grow into adults, and it is hard to fathom they are not little ones anymore. Great dedication poem from a good dad. :D Loved the poem tribute to your daughter. :D

HI Marky-beautiful hub; very touching. I'm happy for you with your memories and your 'new' life. Hugs.
Mine is not that old yet but I am already feeling the anxiety of her growing up too fast. I enjoyed this hub and voted up and beautiful
Aww, so touching. You are one of a kind! Happy to vote it up and share. sending birthday wishes and blessings for your little girl and you! :)
Hey Mark, I'm not a parent, so I don't know what it's like to watch my own children grow up. However, even with that said, I've watched my nieces grow up to be extremely beautiful ladies. One is 16 presently and turning out to be quite a looker, but is still maturing. The other is 21 years old and in college, and has a good head on her shoulders. Yes, the years passed by quickly and I'm glad to see what they are turning into now. And, no it doesn't make me want any of my own. LOL! :) Nice tribute to your daughter. :)

It doesn't matter how old they are, they will always be our babies. Beautiful poem. I'm sure Stefani will love it.
