How To Be Happy With What You Have In Life

BEING HAPPY WITH WHAT YOU HAVE IN LIFE

There are so many people in the world that have all they need to live a happy life, but they just want more and more. What they have in their lives is just never enough. Nothing is good enough for them and they always want more, which is fine, and it is great to want the best of everything, but when you really think about it, does all that really, honestly make you happy?

How to be happy with what you have in life can be as simple as one, two ,three. You may just be searching for happiness all in the wrong places. Happiness is really right in front of your nose and many can not see it. many of us think material things make us happy and I can assure you that in most cases is not true. It may be true in the beginning , but the thrill wears off over time.

What is the big deal about having the best of everything and still wanting more. I don't get it. Why can't we be happy with what we have in our lives and stop wanting more and more? Try to be happy with want we already have and enjoy what you have.

I must say though, if you are in a financial position to buy the best that is wonderful and I am happy for those people, but I am really referring to people just like myself that go to work and somewhat live paycheck to paycheck. I know there are many of those people in the world, but the point I am trying to make is that those people want what they can not afford. So they over extend themselves with loans to buy something thinking that it will make them happier and in the beginning they are happy, until it is time to pay for that item plus paying all that interest on that loan that they thought would make them a happy person.

Now they are going from being happy at first to miserable and unhappy because of all the years of repayments and may be thinking if they did right by their decision.

For myself, I recently put my house on the market for sale. The house I grew up in and totally remodeled from top to bottom. The thing is, that I truly still wasn't happy even though i made the house just the way my wife and I wanted, adding 2 more baths, brand new kitchen and so much more

All of our married years we had aways wanted to have a home by the Sea, but as many people know my addiction to alcohol held me back from our life's dream.

Once I finally surrendered to my addiction to alcohol I began planning a new life for the both of us and I was willing to downsize and live in a 55 + community mobile home park. We searched for months and looked at many homes and communities that would be right for us and we finally found the perfect place and it is minutes from the Ocean and the Bay.

HOW I FOUND HAPPINESS

So the thing I wanted most in my life came true when I quit drinking alcohol. I wanted to be by the Sea my whole life and when I became clean and sober I was willing to do anything it took to fulfill my dream and that was to downsize and live life a little more simple just to be happier.

The home is a double wide mobile home that needed much work on the inside and outside, but I got it for a great price because of the work needed and I took advantage of the price.

We all have heard the words, location, location, location and the work that needed to be done was well worth it for the location itself. Now the home is done and the wife and I are the happiest we have ever been in our married life.

i guess the point I am trying to make here is, you can be happy with the most simple of things including the home you live in. We were willing to put the house I grew up in that has so many memories and all the hard work we did to the house behind us and put it up for sale to live our dream.

As everyone knows we are only here on earth one time and for some a short time, so why not be happy with your life while you are healthy and young enough to enjoy it. Take that chance in life and don't try to keep up with the Jone's and make yourself unhappy and miserable.

Be happy with what you have in life and enjoy your life to the fullest. If you have a dream like I had in your life, make it happen , but don't over extend yourself to achieve that dream. Give up some things as I did to make your dream become a reality.

I hope you get my point of just what I am saying here in regards to being happy in your life. You don't have to have the biggest and the best of everything to be happy in your life. Sometimes less is more in life and it just may take having less to be a happier person.

I know that worked for us and we are the happiest we have ever been. Try it for yourself and you may see that happiest doesn't come from big and expensive things in life. Only you can find the right thing to make you the happiest you have ever been.
