Drinking And Driving Over .08

Updated on July 19, 2013

Drinking and driving takes lives.

Many people drink alcohol and think nothing of getting in their car or someone else after a night out on the town drinking and parting away. With every drink of alcohol those people lose their sense of direction and their common sense totally.

These people that drink alcohol and get in an automobile or any motorize vehicle are not drinking responsibly. There placing their lives and a life or lives of innocent people in harms way.

The alcohol has kicked in and they think that they are indestructible, but little do they know that night out on the town just may change their lives and possibly others in a split second.

Within all of our states in the United States each one has different guidelines regarding their over the limit BAC.

Since I live in New Jersey I will tell you that drinking and driving over .o8 is a offense and if you are found guilty and your BAC is over .08 you will pay the consequences. Below are the guidelines for New Jersey and there are a few links for other states as well. If you want to find your state and it's guidelines then here is the link for such.

  • Non-commercial drivers age 21+ are considered legally drunk when their blood alcohol level is .08 or more.
  • Drivers of commercial vehicles are legally drunk when their blood alcohol level is .04 percent or greater.
  • Drivers under 21 are legally drunk when their blood alcohol level is .01 or more.

GOING OUT TONIGHT - SO ARE WE!

This billboard was just put up where I live and I think that it makes a great message and a fair warning to those that want to go out and drink and drive. You may get away with it a couple of times, but your day will come and you will be caught for sure, that's of course if you don't kill yourself in the meantime.

I really don't like being harsh with my words, but sometimes it is a must in order to get the point across to those that drink and drive and think nothing of it. Your time will come whether you think so or not. All in do time my friends. Your clock is ticking and the law is waiting.

LOOK AT THE GIFT YOU GET FOR BEING CAUGHT DRINKING AND DRIVING

DO YOU GET THE PICTURE YET?

I just thought of something that you may not know and that is if you are worried about being caught drinking and driving, I have the answer for you and that is:

DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE AND YOU HAVE NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT EXCEPT ANOTHER DRUNK DRIVER, SO BE CAREFUL, YOU NEVER KNOW WHO IS DRUNK BEHIND THE WHEEL!

  • I hope these photos don't upset anyone, but they must be shown to get the point across.
