How A Positive Attitude Can Change Your Life
There are so many things that can happen in someone's life, that it can make it really hard to have a positive outlook in life itself. Life to me, is like a roller coaster with the ups and downs and sharp turns that life brings our way.
Some of us can not deal with these different changes that are thrown our way. We sometimes can not accept or handle changes. We want to always be on a even keel, but as we all know this doesn't always happen, and when there becomes a road block in our life or something we can't handle we start to think negative thoughts.
We say, why is this happening to me or what did I do wrong to deserve this in my life?
In my opinion, this is our test in life to see how much we can really handle. I know that this may sound strange, but we are put through these little test in our lives to make us stronger human beings, to be able to love more and not hate. This of course is my opinion and my experiences.
How a Positive Attitude can change your life forever. If someone, we will say, walks around all the time with just pure negative thoughts, what do you think their life will be or better yet what do you think their.outcome in life will amount to?
My answer would be their life would wind up to be just about nothing. They walk around, down in the dumps and cry why me, but do they try at all to change their situation in their life. Some will try to change and then some will just except life as it is and be miserable forever.
You have to want and dream and go after those dreams and goals in life because it will not come to you. Good things will not just fall into your lap unless of course you were left a huge amount of money in a inheritance or something of that nature, but how often does that happen to people in the world?
If you want good for yourself and your family you can't just sit back and wait for something to happen, you have to grab the bull by the horns and go after your dreams and what you want out of your life.
When I was addicted to alcohol for many many years I had nothing but negative thoughts in my life. How can you even have a positive attitude in life when you are high or drunk all the time. The drugs and booze bring you down to a level that you hate your life and think you have no meaning in life to even be on this earth.
That is so sad to me, that an addiction can and will do this to a person, that possibly before their addiction, had a great life and was meaningful, until those rotten demons took over their bodies and minds.
These addictions will bring you from living your dreams and having everything in life to hitting rock bottom with a blink of an eye. That's a huge change in anyone's life. So what happens is that your positive thinking and your positive life you lead all turn to negativity real fast.
I can't say it enough in my writing and speaking to family and friends that the first thing I did when I decided to surrender to my addiction was that I prepared my mind for a journey of a life time. By doing so and starting with my positive attitude, gave me a huge advantage to be able to achieve what I was about to due not only for myself, but my family as well.
If I would have continued to think negative I would have never been able to conquer my addiction, but thinking positive doesn't end there it has to continue forever and ever.
If something gets thrown at you in life that brings you down, and you say "why me?" just stop and think of how you can make this small curve in your life be better. How can I change or fix this? Don't just cry about it and say "why me?" Think positive and try to change the negative thing into to something positive.
Unfortunately, there are somethings in life that we can't change, meaning a incurable disease of someone we love or know or maybe even ourselves, but even so, still Stay Positive about that too because Miracles Do Happen.
How can we not live life positive when there are some many beautiful things out there to take in and just to be able to wake up each and every morning and be alive is truly a gift from above.
Be grateful to Be Alive and don't tarnish your life with negative things. Think Positive and thank God for what he has given each and everyone of us......"LIFE".
